FOR THE YOUTH OF TODAY – a short message to them

Life is filled with moments where we have to start over—be it due to mistakes, challenges, or the natural changes that come with growing up. Each new phase can feel overwhelming or confusing, but remember that every new beginning is a chance to learn and grow. Just like how the seasons change, so do we, bringing unique beauty and opportunities to each stage of our lives.

As you approach graduation from middle or high school, consider how this time marks a significant transition not only in your education but also in your relationship with Yeshua (Jesus) and Adonai (Lord). These relationships will serve as your guiding light. Just as Moses experienced dramatic beginnings filled with struggles, he became a great leader through faith and perseverance. Your trials are opportunities to lean on these spiritual connections, inviting guidance into your life as you navigate new responsibilities and exciting possibilities that lie ahead.

Leaving school means stepping into a world brimming with job opportunities and decisions. It’s essential to explore paths that align with your talents and passions while also considering how you can serve others in your community. As you seek employment, remember to approach each opportunity with the values instilled by your faith—integrity, compassion, and commitment. In doing so, you not only fulfill your responsibilities but also reflect Adonai's love and purpose in your life.

Surround yourself with friends who encourage you and help you grow. Proverbs 27:17 reminds us that "iron sharpens iron," emphasizing how our relationships can uplift and strengthen us. As you forge these connections, be mindful of those who genuinely inspire you to pursue the dreams that God has placed in your heart. Together, you can create a community that faces challenges with resilience and hope.

Starting fresh doesn’t mean forgetting the past; it means using those experiences to lay a stronger foundation for your future. Everyone makes mistakes—it’s a part of being human. 1 John 1:9 offers assurance that if we confess our faults, we can receive forgiveness and begin again. This principle extends to our relationship with God and with those around us. Learning to apologize and rebuild trust takes courage, but it is an integral part of personal growth.

As you move into this new chapter, hold onto the hope that every ending is truly a new beginning. The future may seem uncertain, but with faith and a positive mindset, you’ll discover what you can accomplish. Keep your dreams alive, and don’t let fear hold you back. Remember the promise in Jeremiah 29:11: God has plans for you, filled with a future and a hope.

So take a deep breath, embrace the changes, and look forward to what lies ahead. Each day is an opportunity to start anew, to pursue your ambitions, and to grow into the person you aspire to be. Dive into these new beginnings with confidence, knowing that you’re never alone on this journey. Trust in Yeshua and Adonai to guide and support you through every challenge and triumph you encounter.
