It's Time To Look Up And Pray!
The prophets spoke of a time when the eyes of all would be opened, not only to the signs in the heavens and on the earth, but to the truth that had long been hidden in plain sight. The very nations that once scoffed, the peoples who hardened their hearts and turned away from יהוה YHWH , would begin to see, and they would be drawn toward Him. Scripture consistently presents blindness as a matter of the heart rather than the eyes. The Hebrew word ayin עַיִן ‘ eye, perception, understanding describes the ability to truly see. When יהוה YHWH opens eyes, He restores discernment and understanding, not merely sight. The prophet Zechariah spoke of a moment when יהוה YHWH would be recognized openly and universally. “And יהוה YHWH shall be King over all the earth.
